‘Tis the season of giving! In search of the perfect gift/s for the climber in your life? Luckily, we’ve made it easy to shop for any climber with our Gift Guide. Here is a quick guide to all gear that your fellow climber will love.

  1. Rock Out Climbing Gym T-shirts and Tank Tops ($25)

Comfortable, casual and easy to climb in! A Rock Out Climbing Gym tank or t-shirt is the perfect present for anyone.

2. Rock Out Climbing Gym Gift Card ($*)

Whether your climbing friend already climbs at our gym or they’re thinking about it, a gift card is an ideal gift!  Buy online or at the gym. If you want to buy climbing shoes or accessories for someone, a gift card is better so they can try on and chose their own gear! First timers? You can go for $52 which is a first visit bundle for two, or $55 for two visits for one person which includes day pass and rental shoes & chalk.

3. Youth Climbing Club Membership ($130-$165)

If you have a young aspiring climber, a Youth Climbing Club Membership is a great place for them to start!  Our climbing clubs meet one night a week from 5:30pm - 7:30pm for six weeks. Winter session starts January 2025, and the Spring session follows in March 2025!

4. Climbing Training Gear (great for stocking stuffers!)

  • Chalk/Chalk Bag ($17-$40)

Chalk is useful for drying the hands to help get a better grip on surfaces. Climbers with especially sweaty hands use chalk to decrease the chance of slipping their grips. A chalk bag is used to, of course, to store the chalk! Climbers will always need chalk, so this will always be a thoughtful gift.

  • Grip Strength Trainer ($7-$18)

The best way to train your grip is to actually climb. However, climbers can’t always find their way to the gym. Grip strength trainers are good for training that grip during the holidays when sitting around with friends and family or driving in a car.

  • Finger File ($13)

A finger file will help manage those calluses so that they don’t rip while climbing. The hands are the climber’s tools and they always need to be maintained!

  • Climbing Tape ($8)

Protecting the skin and structural support is what climbing tape is for. For those who climb intensely, the skin on the hands will rip and tear. The climbing tape is the perfect gift to add that extra layer of protection.

  • Acupressure Rings ($1)

Your fingers may ache after a day of climbing. Acupressure rings help massage the fingers to combat swelling and promote healing.  These little magic devices increase blood flow and help remove non-nutrient fluid from collecting around the joints and tendons.

  • Toothbrush ($4-$16)

Toothbrushes are great for cleaning and not just for dental hygiene! Grip surfaces get dirty, sweaty, greasy, and downright slippery. In the gym and outdoors, climbers use toothbrushes to clean the surfaces of holds to get a better grip.

5. Crash Pad ($225)

Tis the season also to go outdoor climbing in the Southeast USA! Head out prepared with an ASANA Sidekick crash pad available in four different styles! 48"X36"X4" Open Dimenstions

6. Hang Board ($80-120)

If your favorite climber wants to “hang out” with you at home and show off their amazing grip and finger strength, you can purchase a hang board for the house. It also makes a great party trick for friendly competition and getting others interested in the sport!

And there you have it! A holiday gift guide for your fellow climbers. Any of these gifts will show your climber friend or loved one that you send it for the holidays!
